I think both of our cases are with the same IO. I got the same response to the SR I had raised on Aug 2 via snail mail(wait for 60-90 days). Did u get an email or snail mail?

not that i know of , but i have heard at number of places this coming up very faster. it might be one of those s1932 clauses in disguise. i will keep a tab on this legislation which seems to be very good.

In order to utilize all visas under given category , NVC will start preparing application and forward to consulate. NVC is rarely wrong in their prediction, sometime they do start processing app in case USCIS fails act on enough cases in last quarter and in case if they have to forward date ahead they want to make sure consulates are ready with file to close.
Since this is June 2007 case , they might be expecting real GC allocation upto April 2007 but they want to keep buffer of 2 months.If person who posted this info is not making april fool joke then PD in last quarter will be defiantly up to June 2007.

Looks like the sneaking is not un-common. And our own Rev. Frist and Denny Hastert seem to have SNEAKED a relief for drug companies into the Defense appropriations bills.
I wonder how is that related. Maybe the drug companies make drugs that benefit the US military that needs an appropriations bill and hence the drug-company relieft provisions are tied to Defense appropriations bill.

Did any one get their GCs WITHOUT getting the CPO email? I got PDA emails Sep 11 (saying that they have approved the I485 applications), followed by SLUDs Sep 13. I didn't get any CPO email or other notification. Should I expect the CPO emails and THEN the GCs, or just simply the GCs?

I believe they already answered the question: they claimed the previous allocation scheme was wrong and the current is correct. There is nothing more you can possibly get by questioning on this issue. Even if there is anything behind the curtain, that explanation covers everything perfectly and there is nothing you can do about it.
We can definitely question them on how their understanding changed on visa spill over distribution.
